Hosta 'Seven Year Itch'

Brighten up the shaded corners of your landscape with the stunning Hosta 'Seven Year Itch', a vibrant perennial that promises long-lasting garden allure. A spectacular hybrid crossing the traits of 'Marilyn Monroe' and 'Dancing Queen', this medium-sized hosta emerges in spring with a radiant, neon-yellow glow. As mid-to-late summer approaches, the heart-shaped foliage gently transitions into a sophisticated chartreuse-lime hue, perfectly accented by delicate stalks of fertile lavender flowers.

What truly sets this cultivar apart is its remarkably dramatic architecture, boasting broad, dome-shaped leaves defined by heavily rippled and ruffled margins. Reaching a mature size of approximately 20 inches tall by 48 inches wide, it forms a dense, cascading mound that adds texture and dimensional contrast to any planting scheme. It performs beautifully across USDA zones 3–9, thriving in part-to-full shade where its gold tones can safely pop without scorching.
