Hosta 'All Aflutter'

The spectacular Hosta 'All Aflutter' injects dynamic energy, multi-toned contrast, and elegant architectural motion into the low-light landscape layout, operating as a premium medium focal point. This vigorous selection forms a beautiful, tidy mounded canopy comprised of exceptionally thick, rubbery foliage that offers outstanding natural protection against heavy slug pressure. The lance-shaped leaves emerge a deep blue-green, beautifully edged with a soft, finely feathered creamy-yellow margin that elegantly catches filtering woodland sun rays. True to its whimsical name, each leaf features delicate twists and rippling along the borders, creating a striking illusion of dancing movement across your garden borders. As the summer progresses, the glaucous wax transforms smoothly to deep green tones while the borders brighten into a clean, stark white, before giving rise to stately scapes bearing medium purple flowers.

Incorporate this unique selection into your shaded borders or woodland features by pairing it with delicate, shade-loving ferns, fine-textured variegated sedges, or the rich crimson plumes of dramatic astilbes to elevate the underlying textures of your garden layout.

Info: Our plants are grown in 5.25 x 5.25 x 5.25 inch pots and develop large root systems. These are not a small liner but a plant you can put right into your garden. That means you will get a bigger plant right away compared to a starter plant. We guarantee you will get a true to type healthy plant that you will love for years. If you have any problems or questions we are happy to help. During early spring plants may still be breaking dormancy so they may appear smaller than they will be when they fully leaf out. In Fall or Winter the plants may be dormant which means the may be losing or have completely lost their leaves.

Shipping: We do not ship to Hawaii or Alaska due to cost and import restrictions. Plants will be removed from their pots and loose soil removed and the rootball placed in a bag. We are an inspected nursery from the VA Dept of AG
